Ok I love TPT and have finally posted something of my own!

I love blogging and playing on teacher pay teacher and this year myself and my teammate have been very into making all our stations match our themes. Which has been amazing but A LOT of work.. So we have been throwing around the idea of putting some stuff on Teacher Pay Teacher. Well... tonight both my boys went to bed early and I was playing around and I have posted my first thing! Life Changes and Back to school...

I have not blogged in forever. Life has been crazy. I have a new baby Landon who will be 2 months tomorrow and we have moved to a new house. So our family is doing a lot of adjusting. I have to say how proud of my Little man Jackson I am. He is a WONDERFUL big brother. He has adjusted very well. Sticker charts do wonders in my house ( such a teachers kid :))

I can not believe its that time of year to start a new school year. I am so excited to see what the year brings. I also am taking 4 weeks off to stay home with my little man, so I am a bit nervous to come in at 4 weeks, but being MOMMY comes first.

Looking at all your wonderful blogs is making me feel a bit uneasy and so not ready so good thing I will have a few weeks home to catch up. Everyone has so many wonderful ideas I don't know where to start!

Well here's to a great 2011 - 2012 School year!

A sad sad day.....

It was a sad sad day in my house yesterday. Jackson revived a pet fish as a birthday give away
( amazing gift thanks Mandy and Reagan). He fell so in love with it that my husband and I decided to go out on Sunday and get a bigger tank and another fish. Jackson said that "fish the fish" ( yep that's his name) needed a friend. So we took a trip to Petsmart and let Jackson pick another fish who he named fish the fish2 (creative right :)) After being at working and chatting with the girls about fish and how much Jackson loved his we get home and Jackson goes right to the fish tank and says.."Mommy where is fish the fish 2?" I am in the other room and come walking in when he says" oh there he is stuck in the tree"... so  we had to flush fish the fish 2 down the toilet and have a talk and of course cry about fish the fish 2. After a snuggle and big hugs he was ok with it. Then my husband got home about a half and hour later and when he walked in Jackson says " Oh daddy I have bad news. Fish the fish 2 died! Because he did not eat!" Then he says can we go to Petsmart to get another fish! Ahhh the joys of being a kid and a fish owner. :)

Farm Farm Farm!

 

We are doing a farm unit for the next 2 weeks and wanted a fun art activity. So I created a paper piecing farm animal book. Take a look at how cute they are going to be.... 
** Here is what you need -
For the cow each student needs one white rectangle,two white squares, one pink square and one black rectangle.
For the pig each student needs one pink rectangle, 2 pink squares and one black rectangle.
For the barn each student needs two large squares, one brown rectangle and one white square.
For the Sheep each student needs one black square, two white squares and one small pink square.
For the horse each student needs one brown rectangle, two brown squares, one pink square, and one white square.

Here is the barn horse and sheep! They are so cute and fun fun fun! Hope you enjoy as much as me!

Landon's Sprinkle!

Today was a great day. Filled with fun and friends. I am so blessed to have the worlds most amazing friends both new in my life and ones that have been around for years! A huge thanks to my best friend Sarah her mom Lynne and my Mom Patti for throwing the best "sprinkle" ever. Here are a few pics from the day.

Tomorrow will be 31 weeks and Landon will be here before we know it. Time is really flying by. Here is a pic of me and my growing Belly!

Ahhh the joys of having a student teacher!!

Life has been awesome these last 4 weeks. I have an amazing student teacher. I am 29 weeks pregnant so she is such a blessing. And I am getting a ton of blogging and new literacy centers made. YIPPIE. I made a few fun centers and would love to share. I am still trying to totally figure this blog thing so I cant seem to fix the top any suggestions???

UGH sick kids are the worst..

I really just don't understand why parents can't keep their sick kids home. UGH I am so tired of sick kids at school boogers, sneezing, coughing GROSS.. and now it has struck my little man. Poor guy between the germs I bring home and the germs from preschool he is doomed..
YIKES after a night in Urgent care 2 breathing treatments and 4 prescriptions, we are still not better. Poor little man :( We were up most of the night and now back to the doctor today hopefully to get some answers and treatments that will work.  Nothing is worse then a sick little guy it breaks my heart. More to come with the finding...

OK ok so after a friend and coworker turned me on to Blogging I thought I would jump in and try in out!

Alright here goes nothing... I thought why not jump in and try out this blogging! I love reading and finding interesting facts and ideas from other wonderful mommies and teachers. 

So a little about me...
I am a 27 year old who has an amazing family and job. I have a wonderful 3 year old named Jackson who is just the love of my life. I also have another little boy on the way. I am so excited ( and a bit nervous) to be a mommy of 2 boys! I married the love of my life Sean almost 6 years ago. He is a wonderful husband and an AMAZING daddy! We also have a 5 year old Yellow Lab Wrigley!
I have been teaching Kindergarten for 6 years and love every minute! There is never a dull moment. I believe very strongly that having a good Kindergarten year really influences a child's love for school and education. I pride myself on making memorable and exciting experiences for all my students!
